Pyramid is in order of perquisite courses (starting from the Basic Caregiving Certification and moving up)Each certification level requires a test after completion of the study at home course. After you pass each test you will be issued a certificate.
The individual certification courses are designed with your busy schedule in mind. You can access our certification programs wherever you have an internet connection. Because of our distance learning format we are able to keep our overhead low and translate those lower costs into lower fees for our certification programs. This distance learning format makes our certification programs more affordable and more convenient (no commuting required) for most people.
“…In order to reduce the number of problems attendant to long-distance caregiving we recommend doing your homework ahead of time. The includes finding out who you can count on to take care of your mom or dad on a regular basis and who you can turn to for questions, support and help if an emergency arises. It will also help to have a 3 ring binder or whatever type of information career that works for you to keep track of whatever information you collect.
Assessing your family members condition is the first step toward getting a handle on your elders situation. This should include both a medical diagnosis and an evaluation of the individuals need for assistance.”
